Am I in perimenopause?
Twelve questions, written and reviewed by physicians. Tells you in 90 seconds whether your symptom pattern looks like the perimenopausal transition — and where in the guide to start reading.
A pattern-recognition tool. The twelve questions are drawn from the symptom clusters that show up most often in the SWAN study and the STRAW+10 staging system — the two pieces of research most commonly used to describe the perimenopausal transition. The result tells you whether your pattern looks like that, and where to read next.
A diagnosis. The quiz can’t replace bloodwork, a thyroid panel, or a conversation with a menopause-trained clinician — and it can’t catch the conditions that mimic perimenopause (thyroid disorder, anaemia, chronic stress response). It can tell you whether the conversation is worth having.
The questions women ask before they take it.
Is the quiz medically valid?
It's not a validated screening instrument like the PHQ-9. It is, however, drawn from the symptom set used in published perimenopause research, and reviewed quarterly by our medical board.
Will I be added to a list?
Not from the quiz itself. We don't ask for your email to give you the result. There's an optional email opt-in on the result page if you want to save the matching field guide.
Can I retake it?
Yes, as often as useful. Perimenopause symptoms shift quarter to quarter; the result is a snapshot, not a verdict.
